Flip Skateboards

Flip Skateboards was formally known as Deathbox Skateboards and was started in 1987 in the UK by Graham McEachran, Jeremy Fox and Duncan Houlton. The brand become known as Flip Skateboards and relocated to the USA in 1994. This was a bold move! Jeremy Fox, Ian Deacon and Geoff Rowley arrived in the US first, followed by team riders Tom Penny (slugger favourite), Rune Glifberg and Andy Scott. There presence in a USA dominated skateboard industry quickly proved that they were a team of the most progressive street and ramp skateboarders in the world. As Flip grew also did there team with am editions and og riders such as Alex Moul, Ali Boulala and Arto Sarri. The industry take over had begun with the release of the debut team video 'Sorry' filmed by Fred Mortagne aka Frenchfred. The team was stacked and there footage was stacked even higher! Notable breakthrough video parts from Bastien Salabanzi and Mark Appleyard. This is just a slice of Flip's rich skateboarding history...
